About

From surviving to truly living. As a social worker and family mediator, I support individuals, couples and families through life transitions, conflict and trauma with a warm, non-judgmental approach.

How I work

My practice blends strength-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approaches to create a supportive space where you can reconnect with yourself and prioritize your well-being. Drawing from methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment, and emotion-focused frameworks, I work collaboratively to identify your goals, harness your resilience, and guide you toward sustainable balance and growth.

What do Family Mediators do?

The mediator’s role is to ensure that each spouse freely and fully communicate their needs and expectations to each other, so that mediation is conducted on a fair and informed basis. The mediator does not make any decision on behalf of either party. The solutions come from the parties themselves, they are never imposed. However, the mediator may suggest in some cases to consult another professional, depending on the nature of the dispute.

What is a psychosocial evaluation for the incapacitated adult?

A psychosocial assessment is a legal document prepared by a social worker to evaluate an adult’s autonomy and incapacity during the homologation of a protective mandate. It considers the person’s functional and decision-making abilities, family and social networks, roles, and financial situation. The person’s wishes and the views of close relatives are also considered. The social worker then makes recommendations to the court based on the information gathered.
