A service is a paid offering you provide to clients, like individual therapy or a psychoeducational assessment. On Promptd, services live at the clinic level: you define a service once, then assign it to every provider who delivers it.

How clinic services work

  • Each service has a default price and duration, and can carry multiple price and time options (variants), like a 30 minute follow-up or a student rate. See service variants for details.
  • You assign a service to one or many providers in your clinic.
  • Each assigned provider can keep the default pricing or change it to whatever they want. Their profile shows their own price.

Add a service

  1. Open Services in the sidebar of your clinic account.

  2. Click New service, or use one of the quick-add suggestions like 15-min consultation, Individual session, or Couples session.

The clinic services page
  1. Set the name, category, default price, and duration. Add variants if the service comes in more than one format.

  2. Click Assign providers on the service to pick who delivers it. Providers can also attach themselves to a clinic service when editing their own profile, and adjust their pricing there.

FAQ

Two providers charge different prices for the same service. Is that a problem?

No, that is the normal case. Define the service once with a default price; each provider can override the price on their own profile.

Do free services exist?

Yes. A $0 service is legitimate, for example a free 15 minute consultation.

What should I do next?

Continue with inviting your team members, or go back to the clinic onboarding guide.
