Your page in both languages

Quebec clients search for care in French and in English, often for the same providers. On Promptd you do not choose a side: you write your page once, in whichever language you prefer, and it exists in both.

What gets translated

Everything you write: your about section, how you work, your service names and descriptions, your answers in Good to know, your communities, your qualifications. A client reading your page in French and a client reading it in English see the same practice, each in their own language. Your name, of course, stays your name.

When it happens

Translation is automatic. Your page is translated when you publish, and when you edit a section, the other language catches up on its own shortly after. You never maintain two versions, and you never need to ask for a re-translation.

Because of this, one habit to drop if you had it elsewhere: do not write both languages into one field, like a bilingual about section with the French paragraph above the English one. On Promptd that produces a page that repeats itself in each language. Write in one language and let the translation carry the other.

The one check worth doing

The translation is written for care language and reads naturally, but you know your own vocabulary better than anyone. Once your page is complete, open it in the other language (switch the language on the page itself) and read it as a client would. If a term of art came out differently than you would say it, the fix is usually to phrase the original more plainly, and the translation follows.

Both audiences are real

Your statistics show your page views split between English and French, so you can see what your bilingual page is doing: many providers discover that a meaningful share of their visitors read them in the language they did not write in. That split is the whole point: one page, both audiences.

How this feeds into search and recommendations is covered in How clients find you.
