Yes. Improved mental health is not only possible, but it's often more accessible than we think when the right conditions are in place. It's not a magical transformation or a linear path. Getting better means learning to know yourself better, understanding your patterns, regulating your nervous system, taming your emotions, and developing concrete tools to navigate life differently.

How long does it take to feel improvement?
The duration varies depending on your needs and goals. Your personal involvement and commitment play a key role in the evolution of therapy. During our first meetings, we'll establish together a plan adapted to your resources to help you feel better quickly. Improvement isn't linear: there are ups, downs, and sometimes plateaus. But every small step counts, and progress is real as soon as you start regaining power over your experience.

Do I need a medical referral to consult?
No.
To consult in psychotherapy or social work at Clinique Inter Connexions, no medical referral is necessary. You can book an appointment directly, without going through your doctor.
Some people choose to talk to their doctor to get complementary support, but it's never an obligation. Access is voluntary, simple, and confidential.

What does a typical session look like?
A typical session is a calm, human, and collaborative space where we move forward at your pace. It generally lasts 50 minutes. We start by seeing how you're doing, what's happened since the last meeting, and what you'd like to address today. It's a moment to settle in and name what's present. We work together on the issues that matter to you: emotions, thoughts, behaviors, relationships, patterns, stress, addictions, transitions, according to your needs.
