Creating provider profiles
A provider profile is the public presence of an individual practitioner on Promptd. It is what clients find, compare, and message. Every provider profile is aggregated under your clinic page, links to your clinic addresses, and carries the services that provider delivers, with their own pricing.
Provider profiles are what your subscription pays for: one seat per profile, as covered in the billing guide.
Two ways to create profiles
- Create them yourself. As an owner or admin, you can create a profile for each practitioner.
- Let practitioners create their own. Invite them to your clinic and each person builds their own profile. Their side of the process is covered in joining a team.
Create a profile yourself
-
From your checklist, click Create a provider profile. You can also start from Home, where your clinic's profiles are listed.
-
The guided form opens. You can import existing data from a website like Psychology Today or LinkedIn to pre-fill the profile, or skip that and fill everything manually.
-
Work through the steps: the practitioner's introduction, services, addresses, availability, and photo. Your progress is saved every time you click Next, so you can leave and come back with Save & exit.
-
Once published, the profile appears under your clinic page and in search results. Open it anytime from Home to update services, pricing, or availability.
FAQ
Why can't I create a profile?
You need an active subscription with a free profile seat. See the billing guide.
The profile is written in one language. What do clients of the other language see?
Profiles are translated automatically. Fill the form in the language you are browsing in, and Promptd handles the other one.
What should I do next?
That was the last setup step. Review the whole flow in the clinic onboarding guide if anything is left.
