How I work

His approach is informed by third-wave therapies, including mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Exposure and response prevention (ERP) is used for OCD and specific phobias. Neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive therapies are always incorporated into the practice. What should I expect from an assessment?

We conduct psychological evaluations to identify a myriad of conditions in children and adolescents, including ADHD, dyslexia, and autism disorders. The assessment process consists of clinical intake interviews with parents and/or clients, standardized tests, the collection of medical, academic, and psychosocial history through questionnaires, review of other relevant documents, a feedback session provided to the parents/client, and a completed report with the results and recommendations.
