Alanna Israeloff
Psychologist
About
I'm a psychologist with a Master's in psychopedagogy and counselling from McGill University. Over more than 30 years of practice, I've focused on helping people work through shame and build lasting self-esteem.
How I work
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client's needs, drawing on a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My work centres on helping people work through shame and develop self-esteem, and I have particular experience supporting queer communities and clients living with chronic illness as they navigate identity, transitions and emotional challenges.
