I've never committed a crime. Can a criminologist still help me?

Absolutely. Contrary to popular belief, the majority of my clients have never committed a crime. I support individuals who experience anxiety, relational difficulties, violent situations, victimization experiences, addictions or other psychosocial challenges. My role is to help you better cope with the impacts of these difficulties on your daily life.

What is the training pathway for a criminologist?

In Quebec, the title of criminologist is a protected title. To use it, you must hold a recognized degree (typically a specialized bachelor's in criminology or an eligible master's), have completed a supervised clinical internship in intervention, and be a member of the Ordre professionnel des criminologues du Québec (OPCQ).
