About Promptd

In 2025, a therapist and a software engineer set out to raise the bar for mental health marketplaces

We looked at how people search for mental health services and thought: this could be so much better.

We bring tech to mental health so that finding the right provider feels as intuitive and personal as the experience you get on your favourite apps. Today, we represent clinics and independent mental health professionals across Montreal and its surrounding cities, in-person and online.

And we're just getting started.

What our users say

Spent close to two years trying to find a therapist. Waitlists, no callbacks, people who weren't the right fit. Ended up finding someone through Promptd in like a week.

Nadia

I run a small law firm and needed a family mediator for a case. I did not find anyone in my network so I tried Promptd and found someone pretty quickly.

Catherine

Nice to actually see prices listed upfront. Saves you from having to call around just to figure out what you can afford.

Your questions, answered

What is child and adolescent counselling?

Child and adolescent counselling supports emotion regulation, behavior, and family communication with developmentally appropriate care. When adolescence therapy needs arise, plans balance autonomy and safety.

Which approaches are used for children and teens?

Depending on goals, providers may use skills coaching and structured methods such as CBT therapy. For intense emotions or self-harm risk, DBT therapy skills can be added. Activities are tailored to strengths and tracked with simple measures to show progress.

How long does child and adolescent counselling take?

Many families see change within 6–12 weeks with consistent practice; longer timelines address patterns and co-occurring concerns. Plans adjust to school schedules and attention needs.

How do we start child and adolescent counselling?

An intake gathers history and strengths, sets clear goals, and creates a follow-up schedule that fits school and activities. You will leave with first-week actions to try at home.

How do I choose the right provider for child and adolescent counselling?

Look for youth-specific training, caregiver collaboration, and a plan for school or learning concerns when relevant. Teen therapists helps you focus on adolescent specialists, and Learning assessment can help when attention, learning, or school stress is central.
