About Promptd

In 2025, a therapist and a software engineer set out to raise the bar for mental health marketplaces

We looked at how people search for mental health services and thought: this could be so much better.

We bring tech to mental health so that finding the right provider feels as intuitive and personal as the experience you get on your favourite apps. Today, we represent clinics and independent mental health professionals across Montreal and its surrounding cities, in-person and online.

And we're just getting started.

What our users say

Spent close to two years trying to find a therapist. Waitlists, no callbacks, people who weren't the right fit. Ended up finding someone through Promptd in like a week.

Nadia

I run a small law firm and needed a family mediator for a case. I did not find anyone in my network so I tried Promptd and found someone pretty quickly.

Catherine

Nice to actually see prices listed upfront. Saves you from having to call around just to figure out what you can afford.

Jordan

The messaging suggested a few other therapists I could reach out to. My first pick didn't end up working out, but one of the suggestions was actually a great fit.

Samira

I'm an international student at McGill and figuring out what my insurance covers was confusing. On here I could just filter for who takes my plan.

Léo

The filters are really useful. I found someone who speaks my language, is nearby, and takes my insurance without having to dig through a bunch of websites.

Your questions, answered

What is therapy for teens?

Therapy supports teens with skills for emotion regulation, motivation, and relationships. Sessions blend coaching and reflective work with developmentally appropriate activities. Caregivers may join select parts to align routines and expectations. If attention and executive-function challenges are central, ADHD therapists support can be a good complement.

How are caregivers involved?

Care includes brief parent coaching and coordination with school when helpful. Privacy is respected while ensuring safety and practical follow-through. When whole-family dynamics need attention, Family therapists may also be helpful, and Child therapists can support younger teens transitioning from childhood.

What concerns can therapy help?

Common concerns include anxiety, low mood, attention, peer conflict, and transitions. Plans include routines, coping skills, and stepwise exposure where relevant. For worry, panic, and avoidance, Anxiety therapists care may be a helpful starting filter.

How long does it take?

Many teens see gains in 6–12 weeks with consistent practice. Virtual check-ins via Online therapy care can reduce missed sessions during busy schedules.

How do we start?

An intake gathers goals from teen and caregivers, then sets a plan with early actions and a cadence that fits school and activities.
