About Promptd

In 2025, a therapist and a software engineer set out to raise the bar for mental health marketplaces

We looked at how people search for mental health services and thought: this could be so much better.

We bring tech to mental health so that finding the right provider feels as intuitive and personal as the experience you get on your favourite apps. Today, we represent clinics and independent mental health professionals across Montreal and its surrounding cities, in-person and online.

And we're just getting started.

What our users say

Spent close to two years trying to find a therapist. Waitlists, no callbacks, people who weren't the right fit. Ended up finding someone through Promptd in like a week.

Nadia

I run a small law firm and needed a family mediator for a case. I did not find anyone in my network so I tried Promptd and found someone pretty quickly.

Catherine

Nice to actually see prices listed upfront. Saves you from having to call around just to figure out what you can afford.

Jordan

The messaging suggested a few other therapists I could reach out to. My first pick didn't end up working out, but one of the suggestions was actually a great fit.

Samira

I'm an international student at McGill and figuring out what my insurance covers was confusing. On here I could just filter for who takes my plan.

Léo

The filters are really useful. I found someone who speaks my language, is nearby, and takes my insurance without having to dig through a bunch of websites.

Your questions, answered

What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) uses learning principles to build communication, social, and daily living skills. Programs are individualized and data-driven, often delivered in home or school settings. Collaboration with caregivers and teachers supports consistency. CBT therapy may provide complementary cognitive approaches.

Who benefits from ABA?

ABA can support autistic children and others needing structured skill building. Programs adapt to strengths and sensory needs, with emphasis on dignity and consent. Teams coordinate with speech, OT, or psychology as helpful. Many families also compare options with Child therapists therapy depending on goals and developmental needs.

How long does it take?

Intensity and duration vary. Some goals are targeted in short blocks; others need longer horizons. Your team will define measures and review progress regularly with caregivers. For executive-function goals, some people also explore skills support via ADHD therapists therapy or coaching.

How are caregivers involved?

Caregivers learn strategies for home routines and generalization. Coaching sessions support practice and problem solving. Coordination with school improves consistency across settings.

How do we start?

An intake clarifies strengths, needs, and priorities. The team proposes a schedule and goals, then begins teaching with frequent feedback to families.
